Tim, tough choice for Series MVP

Not sure these stats for all playoff series will help, you may have to dig through the boxscores to declare your World Series MVP. Maybe Mark McGwire for his monstrous Game 6? Or Jimmie Foxx and his clutch hitting? Even Vic Willis has to be considered. I'll let you (and Don Zimmer) make the call!

I would say after careful consideration (six and a half minutes before I start work), I have decided it will be Jimmie Foxx. A close second is Rogers Hornsby. If you look at DUF's stats, he really carried his team. But the nature of Jimmie's clutch hits, and the fact that he stayed off the hooch for the entire series (a notorious alcoholic he is), I award him the MVP. In the second most important award, I give the: "Head that most looks like a helmet" Award to Don Zimmer!!
