Lot of familiar names and faces on that team, including one that only a baseball purist like Mr. David Walter can appreciate, the one and only Arky Vaughn. Ark was an on-base machine, much like myself. There's a whole lot of fine ballplayers on that list, including myself (of course) and Johnny Bench, representing the Big Red Machine.
Check ESPN.com tomorrow for the AL team. I'll probably be on that as well, for that year or two that I lit it up for the Oakland A's as a DH and part-time base-runner. Man, I was some kind of ballplayer.

There are a coupler of weird ones though - Berger and Braun. Maybe its because he had to pick from each team. Maybe we should do our own all time all star team. Maybe do a vote per position and post the results or something like that.
